I think you have to be a good listener and observer to be a great bodyworker, as the body gives you clues to what is and is not functioning well. I’ve been in my profession for more than a decade, and I still get excited every day. I truly love what I do and the day is never boring because no two bodies are ever the same and can even change from day to day. It is our pleasure to help you achieve an optimal state of health.

Pain in the Foot

Ever had a hard time getting out of bed because the bottom of your feet hurt so bad it made you walk awkwardly for an hour or so before things calm down? The rest of the day went fine but once you jumped out of bed the next morning it was the same painful event again. You might have what is called plantar fasciitis. Plantar fasciitis is an irritation and swelling of the thick tissue on the bottom of the foot.

Rubbing out a cold

"If I have a cold should I keep my massage appointment?" is a question that I hear often. The answer is yes and no. In the beginning when the body is mounting its defense again the bad bacteria, massage can make things worse. If circulatory massage is applied (i.e. Swedish, Deep tissue, Lymphatic Drainage...) it can speed up and push those bad bacteria every where before your body has had time to mount its defense against them.

Have a migraine...drink coffee, get a pedicure, and find a therapist.
